We are proud to announce a major new sponsorship with the mighty Colwall Cricket Club! The illustrious club, which recently celebrated its 150th anniversary, has long been a mainstay of the local community and enjoyed a historic relationship with The Downs, with many pupils, both past and present, playing for its junior and senior teams.
Colwall Cricket Club Chairman, Kim Berry, commented:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome The Downs Malvern as our exclusive sponsor for all CCC Junior teams for the next 3 years. Our Junior section plays a massive part within of our club & this sponsorship allows us to continue to invest in the development of our young people. It’s a great place to be and very exciting times at CCC.”
Echoing Kim’s sentiment, Headmaster, Andy Nuttall, added:
“Colwall Cricket Club provides children of the local community with fantastic coaching, facilities and opportunities to develop their skills and love of the game, and we are thrilled to further our sponsorship. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the wonderful club with whom we share the common goals of encouraging life-long sporting participation and involvement.”
