While academic achievement is significant, it also recognises the importance of other strengths crucial for personal growth and success. Therefore, it places equal emphasis on celebrating achievements in Art, Drama, Music, Sport, and other enrichment activities, alongside academic performance.
Assessment within the TDM Baccalaureate is comprehensive and varied, incorporating formative in-class assessments, formal summative assessments, and end-of-year exams. Additionally, pupils have the opportunity to undertake Personal Project Qualifications (PPQs) in subjects like History and Theology, Philosophy, and Religion, allowing them to delve deeper into specific areas of interest.
Throughout the programme, children receive dedicated tuition in study skills, equipping them with essential tools for future learning and fostering IT literacy. Their involvement in creative and performing arts, sports, enrichment activities, and residential trips is also recognised and rewarded.
At the end of the two-year period, pupils are awarded a TDM Baccalaureate at either Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum based on their achievements across academic, creative, and personal development domains. Additionally, their commitment to the school’s Skills to Thrive framework further contributes to their overall award.
