Double RHS Award Success at the RHS Malvern Spring Show!

We are delighted to announce that our Forest Schools Around the World garden has won two accolades at this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival School Gardens Challenge — the Best Use of Recycling Award and a coveted Highly Commended from the RHS Judges.

The garden explores outdoor learning in three global settings — Jungle School in Costa Rica, Bush Kindy in Australia, and Mountain School in Norway. Designed and built by pupils from Nursery to Year 8, it features creative planting, recycled materials, and interactive displays, all brought to life through months of hands-on work and collaboration.

Our pupils have proudly presented the garden to visitors throughout the Festival, impressing the public with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and confidence.

Among our visitors was Alan Titchmarsh CBE, who praised the garden as “very impressive” and said the Costa Rican section reminded him of rafting on the Terraba River. We also welcomed Rt Revd Richard Jackson, Bishop of Hereford and President of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, who spent time speaking with our pupils.

Huge congratulations to all involved — and thank you to everyone who supported this fantastic project. If you’re attending the Festival, do stop by and see our award-winning garden in person.
