Mrs Tsiquaye

Sarah joined The Downs Malvern in 2019, initially teaching English, Maths, and Games, before focusing on English, Science, and Forest School. Growing up on a farm in Worcestershire, she was surrounded by nature from an early age, but it was the strong teaching tradition in her mother’s family that inspired her to pursue a career in education.

After gaining a BSc in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Exeter University, she completed her PGCE at Roehampton University and spent nearly a decade teaching in London before returning to Worcestershire. The rural setting of The Downs, with the Malvern Hills on the doorstep, provided a welcome contrast to city life.

Sarah is passionate about outdoor learning and leads the school’s ever-expanding Forest School. Having recently gained her Level 3 qualification, she now runs sessions, manages the site, and continues to develop new opportunities for pupils to learn and grow in nature.
