Caroline brings a wealth of experience from both the corporate world and the classroom, with a deep passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. Before retraining as a teacher over 20 years ago, she spent 12 years in marketing and press relations with Sony, Avid Technology, and BBC News. Her passion for education began earlier, working as a support assistant at a Summer School for children with disabilities, an experience that shaped her commitment to inclusive learning.
Since joining The Downs Malvern in January 2023, Caroline has been struck by the school’s exceptional pastoral care and its ability to nurture each child’s individual talents, whether academic, creative, or sporting. She particularly enjoys seeing pupils perform, from the Pre-Prep Summer Soirée to the outstanding recent senior productions.
